For their Late Fall/Early Winter wedding Danielle & Joey (formally known as Frank!) chose The Oaks Waterfront Inn in St. Michaels, Maryland as their venue and we could not have been more excited to get to photograph their day! We loved all the special little touches that Danielle included throughout the day, especially during pre-bridal (those robes! The giddy champagne toast!) and the ceremony (that bonsai tree unity ceremony had us getting super emotional – I’m not crying, you’re crying!).

Redefining the art of wedding photography
The USNA traditions with the old Hollywood vibe had us drooling over all the photo ops for Caroline and Matt! Let’s start with the versatile yet stylish wedding dress! Its delicate and beautiful lace jacket was worn over the silk ball gown to emulate a Grace Kelly/Kate Middleton look. It was modern yet classic all in one! And then there was the beautiful antique car paired with the grand architecture of the Westin. It created a scene
We captured some gorgeous photos of Lindsay and Chris’ springtime wedding at the Chesapeake Bay Beach Club. The soft sky with just a touch of gray made the the already perfect backdrop of the Chesapeake Bay Beach Club even more inviting for photography. Beach weddings allow for a natural, light and fresh feel to the photographs and the bride and groom take center stage against the neutral tones. Lindsay’s pretty pink and white bouquets look beautiful against the natural palette of the Eastern Shore and her hair and make up matched the elegance and beauty that this venue […]
Lise and John’s Naval Academy wedding was a little different than most – in part due to the amazing fog which created a dreamy atmosphere for their shoot. As if the USNA couldn’t be any more of a beautiful location, the soft light and the haze really upped the ante; the vibe was totally otherworldly in the best of ways. The creamy hues of the academy walls, Lise’s wedding dress and bouquet created a cohesive color palette which seemed to unify everything. One of our favorite things about Lise and John was their complete comfort around one another and the realness of their connection. While they look incredible during posed shots, the real magic was caught in the candid moments in-between. Congratulations to John and Lise!
As we nearing the end of 2016, we wanted to take time to step back and reflect on some of the truly incredible wedding moments we’ve captured over the year. Everything from beautiful bride and groom portraits, wedding day details and decor to magical ceremony and reception venues. Our journey has been amazing – indescribably so – and we’d like to extend a huge thank you to all of our couples for the opportunity to be part of your story!
Lindsay and Quinn’s wedding was autumn personified; revealing itself through warm, muted colors and rustic, vintage-inspired decor. Brittland Estates was the perfect setting, lending fantastical views of the surrounding fieldscapes and colorful foliage. The colors of fall looked especially striking against the simple yet classic attire of the bridal party. Lindsay and Quinn exchanged vows outdoors under a romantic lantern-strewn tree. As day turned into night, guests joined them in celebration under an elegantly decorated clear-roof tent with a unique mixture of stringed lights and stars overhead.
Lauren and Michael’s historic Engineer’s Club wedding at the Engineer’s Club in Baltimore was absolutely breathtaking. It was the perfect mixture of airy, fairytale charm with historic sophistication and infused with tons of memorable details (just look at Lauren’s shoes!). From start to finish the day was so magical and we were honored to have been apart of it. Congratulations, Lauren and Michael!
