The Naval Academy is still one of our favorite spots for wedding photography in Annapolis. It is a classic space for gorgeous wedding photos and classic never gets old! The day was planned by Jan Wise, who owns Going to the Chapel and she nailed the couples vision. The wedding was stunning and classic…just what they wanted! We couldn’t be happier for them.
Christina & Daniel’s Silver Swan Wedding

We first met Christina and Daniel during their engagement session and it has been an absolute pleasure being there to capture their wedding journey from start to finish! They are truly one of the kindest, easygoing couples we’ve ever met! The wedding, held at the USNA and Silver Swan, was a dazzling event filled with so many sweet moments and impressive details. The only aspect of the day that didn’t shine was the sun, as it rained the majority of the day. However, Christina and Daniel kept their composure and fully embraced the day despite the oscillating rain showers. It couldn’t have been any more beautiful – rain and all!

Maggie & John’s Loews Wedding

“Well, you can’t have a dream and cut it to fit / But when I saw you I knew we’d go together/ Like a wink and a smile” – Harry Connick Jr.
The lines to this love song that John first played for Maggie couldn’t be any more appropriate in light of the tale to how they first met! We opened our 2015 wedding season in January with this lovely couple in what was a classic Annapolis naval wedding followed by an elegant reception at the Loews Hotel.

Emily & John | Annapolis Wedding Photographer | Sherwood Forest Clubhouse

A June wedding in the Annapolis area of Maryland is a special time indeed! The days are long with light and the swampy heat embraces us all with the sweet waters of the Chesapeake Bay.
This particular June morning, Emily and her ladies were up early to start the day at Gibson’s Lodging on Price George Street in Downtown Annapolis. A beautiful historical home, decorated with bright whites with plenty of natural light through the old windows. Emily fell in love with just about every dress she tried on, but went with a high-neck line and open back design for a very classic look.
While the girls got ready the boys headed over to the the USNA Chapel […]

Fall wedding’s are magical! The weather is cooling, but still not cold, the leaves give us dynamic color and there is is a great anticipation in the air as we scurry about for the winter to come.
2020 hasn’t been a year to have big celebrations and large gatherings, so let’s take a look back to one year ago, November 2019 to when Allison and Tim tied the knot. These two lovebirds celebrated with a gorgeous wedding at the beautiful Croton Country Club. However, they still wanted to honor Tim’s naval status, so they decided to start their day together at the US Navel Academy, (which, because of Covid, is still closed for weddings as we write this.) […]

A block away, Matt and guys got dressed at 238 King George Street, a home available on Go Navy Rentals, built in 1920 and only steps away from the Naval Academy. […]
