While driving up the tree lined-road with horse pastures on both sides, I realized the allure of such a farm-like setting and began to understand why Melony & John chose Mistfield Farms. I started to stake out the premises before the wedding kicked off and was amazed with everything from the 1800’s style farm house, re-done with a posh Asian interior to the huge barn redone with multiple guest suites and grand windows. Melony and John seemed excited about the day and I mentioned what a great venue they had found. Melony turns to John and says, “Mark things this is a wedding venue! This is John’s parents family farm, he was raised here.” I was amazed, first off thinking how cool a childhood would be in this setting, with also to think you could throw the biggest, most elegant party of your life and it be right at home. From the floating candles on the lily pads in the elongated pool, to the chandler in a chicken shack, to the amazing POWERPLAY BAND tearing it up.
