The Evergreen Museum & Library is an elegant 19th century Gilded Age mansion surrounded by a whopping 26 acres of luscious Italian-style gardens and meadows. Incredibly, all of this beauty is tucked quietly away on the bustling North Charles Street — in fact, Alexis, a Baltimore native, had never even known of it’s existence! Located at just ten minutes from Baltimore’s Inner Harbor, this makes it a dream venue for the rural yet urban bride. Read on for a special glimpse into Alexis and Michael’s incredible celebration of love at one of of Baltimore’s finest historical treasures.
We adored Alexis’ dress by designer Danielle Caprese complete with a sweetheart neckline, rhinestone embellished belt, and beautiful lace details all over!
Alexis and Michael’s wedding stationary rests on a beautiful autumnal bouquet assortment by Rutland Beard Florist including sunflowers, white roses, and calla lilies.

The estate grounds were so vast and wildly diverse — every little niche held rich potential for an incredible photo opportunity!
There were so many unique details at the wedding reception; glitter coated pumpkins secured guest seating assignments, a warm assortment of flower and candlelight centerpieces atop vibrant blue tablecloths all underneath a canopy ceiling.
“I don’t dance, but here I am spinning you around and around in circles. It ain’t my style but I don’t care — I’d do anything with you, anywhere.” | Lee Brice
