Words simply cannot convey the loveliness of Allyson and Benjamin’s fall wedding at the Oaks Waterfront Inn, but fortunately pictures can! Mark and Danny love photographing at this venue, tucked away in a little cove off of the Chesapeake Bay.
Allyson looked stunning in her lace wedding dress and her lovely bouquet mimicked the colors of the fall foliage.
Although they both graduated from the same university, Allyson and Benjamin did not meet until after graduation when a mutual friend introduced them on a group trip to DC. The couple began dating shortly thereafter and the rest is history!
Allyson tells us how Benjamin proposed: “Living in downtown Bethesda, Ben and I love that we have the ability to walk to many local restaurants and shops. Over the years, one Italian restaurant quickly became a favorite and served as a great backdrop for the proposal. With the ring in his sock, Ben completely surprised me, as I thought it was just another great visit to the restaurant that we love.” What a surprise!
The Oaks Waterfront Inn has so many charming spots for photos. We love having the opportunity to work there!
There were floral details and romantic candle lights everywhere you looked.
This dessert bar was to die for!
We loved all of the unique table centerpieces which included a simple yet inviting candle display and creative stationary tucked into the napkins. There were so many distinct details scattered throughout the venue, such as the slab of oak that the wedding cake was presented on.
