The Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum is dedicated to sharing the historical, cultural and economic timeline and stories of the Chesapeake Bay region, but is also a venue committed to being the portal for two lovers as they enter into the beautiful journey of marriage. Anastasia and Mike both share a mutual love of the bay and upon their first visit they instantly knew that this would be the place they wanted to begin their adventure into life together as husband and wife!
One of Anastasia and Mike’s favorite memories of the day was arriving to and departing from the reception by boat!
We LOVED Anastasia’s classic ivory A-line gown with light, flowing layers, a lace-detailed sash and complimented by a gorgeous floral necklace. Mike on the other hand looked dashing in his tux and bow tie combo with a pleasing pop of color from the boutonniere.
Anastasia’s girls looked enchanting in their navy, one-shouldered delicately draped gowns.
The entire wedding crew gathers for a celebratory photo session atop the Hooper Strait Lighthouse.
The reception was a stylish mixture of a decorative waterfront lawn gathering strewn with comfy couches and props …
… as well as a elegant translucent tented area for dining and dancing!
We adored the sailboat guest table assignments, all of which were handmade by Anastasia herself!
