Gerri and TJ chose a vintage nautical look for their beautiful April wedding at the Historic Inns of Annapolis’s Calvert House. Keeping things uncomplicated they chose a black tie optional event. Gerri’s dress was simple, elegant and antique inspired. She carried flowers of white roses and greenery with the special addition of a white lily in honor of her grandmother, who passed away in 2013.
This wedding was really a family affair. Gerri’s mother designed and made all the details from the programs to the menus. They were not only beautiful, but made with love and it showed! Surrounding this couple with people who love them was definitely their goal. The judge who married them was a longtime family friend, “he made such a personal connection with us,’ said the couple.
Gerri is a 1st grade teacher and one of her student’s families owns Sweet Teensy Bakery, so she decided to have them make their cake. Not wanting alot of wasted cake they choose cupcakes as the majority of their presentation, “that way we saved all the extra cupcakes to share with my students,” said Gerri.
Gerri and TJ, had a very memorable wedding day, not only for themselves, but for all the guests who brought their love for this amazing couple. Share in the love and check out their day in photos.
