Here we are — already a full week into our 2016 journey and couldn’t be any more excited about what the year ahead has in store for us. 2015 was seriously amazing and we want to take some time to reflect back on what ended up being our best year ever for wedding photography. We had the opportunity to meet so many incredible couples, shoot in a diverse range of enchanting venues (from ballrooms to barns!) and do a lot of really unique things with our work which resulted in countless memorable moments. We are so grateful to have gotten the chance to form bonds and work with each of our couples + amazing vendors! Having them trust in our creative vision and allow us share and capture their most important memories and details is so special to us. Below we’ve selected a small sampling of some of our favorite wedding day moments of 2015. […]
Kellie and Edward’s wedding day was a slice of of paradise — eastern shore style! They exchanged vows on the Hyatt Regency Chesapeake Bay’s lush, virescent lawn, traipsed through and posed for photos along the tranquil banks of the Choptank River, cruised aboard luxury boats, and danced their little hearts out inside the hotel’s extravagant ballroom. What a fun day it was! […]
Chic, simple and warm. These are the words Zhiye uses to describe her and Changjian’s epic wedding at the George Peabody Library. Located in historic Mount Vernon, one of Baltimore’s oldest and most charming neighborhoods, this wedding was brimming with grace and style. Photographers Christina and Stephen captured so many incredible, dreamlike moments that we can’t wait to share!
The Evergreen Museum & Library is an elegant 19th century Gilded Age mansion surrounded by a whopping 26 acres of luscious Italian-style gardens and meadows. Incredibly, all of this beauty is tucked quietly away on the bustling North Charles Street — in fact, Alexis, a Baltimore native, had never even known of it’s existence! Located at just ten minutes from Baltimore’s Inner Harbor, this makes it a dream venue for the rural yet urban bride. Read on for a special glimpse into Alexis and Michael’s incredible celebration of love at one of of Baltimore’s finest historical treasures. […]
Kasey and Casey’s incredible wedding adventure took place in the heart of Baltimore’s Inner Harbor at the Marriott Waterfront Hotel which offered the vibrancy of downtown life along with the serenity of the bay.
After a small hiatus, we’re returning to the blogging realm with vengeance! It’s been such a wild and amazing summer wedding season so far, and we are literally brimming over with many unique adventures to share! To kick off our comeback, we want to revisit a very special wedding from this past April at the Tidewater Inn in Easton, Maryland. […]
Of all of the USNA weddings that we’ve photographed over the years, Yvonne and Jack’s has to be the cutest! It was a beautiful ceremony followed by an intimate gathering at the Severn Inn. Jack and Yvonne’s story is evidence that love never dies and you are never too old to fall in love.
Our engineer couple Katrina and John chose the perfect date for their wedding at the Engineer’s Club in Baltimore: March 14th aka Pi Day! Their love was commemorated with great elegance and thoughtfulness and yet –amongst the regality of it all — there was a fun, nerdy undercurrent to salute the great mathematical phenomenon known as Pi. After observing Katrina and John’s love for one another throughout the day, we are certain that, like pi, it will continue on infinitely into the future!
Now that spring is in gear, the only thing about the winter that we want to bring back right now is our memories from April and Jamie’s snowy Annapolis engagement session! Their evening included just about everything that makes winter so romantic; from making snow angels, to sharing blankets, to sipping hot drinks, to cuddling with their dog. Jamie proposed to April here in Annapolis, so revisiting the city for their engagement session was extra special for them.
