One of our favorite things about being Annapolis photographers is getting to shoot at the amazing wedding venues in the area. This wedding was no exception, with its US Naval Academy ceremony and Chartwell Country Club reception. Elizabeth and Anthony met at a July 4th beach party in Florida. Elizabeth told us that they were immediately attracted to each other but were both hesitant to jump in to anything serious since they lived so far apart (Florida to Virginia) and were both in flight school. They could only resist for a couple weeks, however, and the rest is history! They overcame the long distance and couldn’t imagine their lives any better. Christina was so happy to help tell their story on their wedding day!

The USNA chapel is a stunning venue for a wedding ceremony! The photos in this space are always gorgeous. 
The couple wanted their wedding to be traditional and classy with a vintage feel. They pulled it off beautifully with wedding traditions such as the Navy Sword Arch and Elizabeth’s vintage-inspired gown and veil! 
We love taking candid wedding pictures–the whole day was filled with so many beautiful moments and lots of laughter! 
One of the reasons Elizabeth & Anthony chose Chartwell Country Club for their wedding was all the greenery around the club, and the warm colors inside.

Here’s a great first dance song– Elizabeth and Anthony danced to Green Eyes by Coldplay! They both have green eyes and would text eachother parts of the song’s lyrics when they were living in different states–so cute, right?
