Tucked into southwest Virginia’s vast rural sprawl you will find Morais Vineyard, a breathtaking winery where Erin and JD chose to exchange their vows. With its rich, European-inspired architecture and picturesque surroundings, our photographers Jason and Chris were able to capture many truly magical moments.
Erin looked absolutely radiant in her lace wedding dress by designer Allure Bridals.
Erin and her bridesmaids pose for a photo under the pergola that overlooks an exquisite view of a pond and lush tree-lined field.
Drinks in hand, JD and his groomsmen leisurely stroll through the estate.
Erin and JD share a kiss from atop a stunning balcony overlooking the grounds as the rest of the bridal party happily root them on.
We love this cute, hand-written sign directing guests to the ceremony.
Erin and JD went to high school together before parting ways and then reconvening again a few years after college. “I’ll probably marry that guy,” Erin immediately told her friend. Though half joking, somewhere love had been etched into her mind, perhaps as boldy as this sign.
JD and Erin didn’t mind getting a bit close while in the tight quarters of the wine vault.
The reception had a rustic and vintage theme, as evidenced by these unique wedding table centerpieces.
The newlyweds joyfully enter the grand ballroom for the reception festivities!
An ordinary night in Virginia felt (and looked) like a charming night in Portugal! Congratulations Erin and JD — we’re so happy to have been a part of your wedding!
