When seeking an intimate, one-of-a-kind wedding venue, sometimes there’s no place like home. Katherine and Aaron chose to transform Katherine’s parents’ backyard into an elegant fête full of fun, fond memories and distinctive details that we can’t wait to share!
Katherine’s stunning wedding dress by Allure Bridals.
Katherine and Aaron exchanged vows in the gorgeous St. Anne’s church in Annapolis.

We loved the shades of blue and grey in the bridal party’s attire.

We marveled at all of the natural accents. Beautiful assortments of flowers were interwoven on an archway made of vertical clusters of branches and adorned with colored hanging chimes. It gave the space and enchanted forest feel.
When asked about what Katherine loved most about the reception and the benefits of planning an at-home wedding she said, “I liked that I was able to have a blank canvas and do whatever I wanted. I was able to come up with anything I wanted and work completely from scratch. I also love that it is a very unique place, since it’s my parents’ house, and it cannot be compared to anyone else’s wedding. Also, I will have fond memories of my wedding for the rest of my life!”
