Katie and James’ day was what wedding dreams are made of. It was a classic naval ceremony with a touch of modern appeal. Mark and Danny had a great time touring around Annapolis on such a lovely autumn day with an even lovelier couple.
Katie grips her gorgeous assortment of creamy white flowers.

One of our favorite USNA stops of the day was Dahlgren Hall. This spacious room had such a regal quality to it with the deep blue floors and vaulted wooden ceilings flanked by colorful state flags. As soon as we stepped inside, it felt as though we’d been transported to a place miles and decades away from Annapolis.

Katie recalls how she and James first met and the early days of their relationship. She knew very early on that James was a winner because, while spending the day in New York City together, he let her pick which show to see and treated her to a romantic lunch at a seafood restaurant despite being allergic!
Late fall is one of the best times to be in Annapolis. The day was perfect with its crisp blue skies and kaleidoscopic bursts of colors of the foliage!
There were lots of love elements incorporated into the details of the reception including a huge light-up LOVE marquee sign (by the fabulous Xoxo Vintage), the unique spelling of “love” in the table number holders, and tender sayings and quotes scattered throughout.
