The arctic temperatures in our area haven’t relented so maybe the more we post about beach weddings, the warmer the weather will become! With that said, we’re going to keep the summer spirit alive by revisiting Kelley and Robert’s beautiful September wedding at the Silver Swan.
This wedding was bursting with color and detail! Starfish were secured by wispy bands of dried stalks tied to the chairs. An impressive wreath of flowers were weaved onto the lattice at the altar. The sky overhead was bright and blue. Altogether, it was truly a radiant scene.
Cache Fleur masterfully created all of the gorgeous flower arrangements seen throughout the day.
Love is serious business, but the bridal party wasn’t shy about reflecting their happiness while deflecting the sun with their fun shades and cold drinks!
As the tide moved in close, Kelley and Robert moved in even closer to share a romantic kiss along the unoccupied beach.
Kelley and Robert first met at community college and became great friends. Without planning it, they found themselves together once more after they both transferred to Towson and became roommates. After graduating, their hearts had become so intertwined that they transferred to the next step in life together and became heartmates!

The reception space was warm, elegant and homely. One of the reasons the couple chose the Silver Swan was not only because of the gorgeous views but because they live so close-by. To them, the venue had a unique and personal feel second only to the intimacy of their own home across the bay.
Sugar Bakers impressed guests with three tiers of beachy deliciousness. Starfish were a recurring object in many of the details, such as these starfish and sand dollar seating favors.
The couple shared their first dance to Tim McGraw’s “My Best Friend” since that is what they were (and still are) in the years before they began dating.
Absolute Entertainment delighted guests with beats all evening long!
