The American Visionary Art Museum is a fun and unique wedding venue located at the base of Baltimore’s scenic Federal Hill and just a stone’s throw away from the famous Inner Harbor district. Christina and Darren had an amazing time capturing all of the swewet moments and unforgettable artistic flares of Lauren and Eric’s wedding celebration!
Lauren and her bridesmaids share some smiles and laughs atop Federal Hill before the ceremony. We love the knee-length grey bridesmaids dresses and the pop of color their red bouquets provide!
Not only is the American Visionary Art museum filled with and surrounded by unique and amazing works made by imaginative artists, but the building itself is a work of art with it’s ivy-wrapped architecture.
Lauren and Eric embrace amidst the beautiful Baltimore city skyline behind them.
Lauren and Eric first met in high school and became fast friends. However, it wasn’t until after college in 2008 that they began dating.
The reception at the AVAM included so many detailed wedding centerpieces, decorations; not to mention, this lovely three-tier cake with a unique swirly frosting that looked like flower petals!
The reception area was incredibly spacious with high, raftered ceilings and the walls were dotted with many windows that gave off lots of incredible natural light!
The SPECTRUM band enlivened guests so much so that they couldn’t help but hoist Lauren and Eric upon their shoulders as they danced!
