The Engineer’s Club at the Garrett Jacobs Mansion in Baltimore takes us back to the Golden Age of elegance and grandeur. Located within one of Baltimore’s oldest neighborhoods, the exteriors of the beautifully preserved buildings surrounding the venue invoked a special historic charm of an age of long ago. Mark and Danny were on the scene to capture Lauren and Joey’s unique Jewish wedding celebration.
Warm smiles are exchanged as Lauren’s mother positions the veil.
One of Lauren’s favorite features about the venue (as well as ours) was the beautiful lighting that flooded the rooms throughout the mansion.
We love photographing weddings in downtown Baltimore; the architecture is teeming with detail and color!
One of the most noteworthy features of the venue is this marvelous spiral staircase.
The table decor was lavish yet simplistic. We thought the plants snaking up the candle holders were a unique centerpiece idea.
Fun fact: Lauren and Joey first met online shortly after Lauren first moved to Washington DC. Their first date was in a cafe of a bookshop called Kramer Books.
There were so many intricacies everywhere we looked! Left: A beautifully crafted three tier cake by Graul’s. Right: An en plein air painter transcribes the day’s events onto canvas.
Lauren and Joey share their first dance closely surrounded by their friends and family within the confines of the ornamental walls.
Congratulations, Lauren and Joey! We wish you both so much health and happiness in your new life together!
