In just a few weeks we’ll be on the verge of spring and we’re getting more and more excited about all of our upcoming spring weddings! Today we want to take a moment to revisit an old springtime favorite. Join us for a glimpse into Mary and Matthew’s regal, luxurious and quaint wedding at the Westfields Marriott as captured by Christina and Danny! At this particular Marriott, ‘hotel’ is a word to be used loosely. Tucked quietly into northern Virginia and hidden away from the hustle and bustle of nearby DC, it felt less like a hotel and more like a large, private mansion!
One lone, curly ringlet from Mary’s head sweeps down and touches her gorgeous pink and yellow bouquet that was elegantly crafted by Rick’s Flowers.
Matthew stands confidently surrounded by his groomsmen!
One of the most remarkable features of the Westfields Marriott is the outdoor scenery. The garden terrace offered a peaceful, laid back atmosphere with BEAUTIFUL views of the property.
The bridesmaids cling to their beautiful bouquets during the ceremony.
The newlyweds share their first kiss against the backdrop of the courtly brick building and the smiles of their friends and family!
Mary and Matthew are the result of a blind-date success story!
The Grand Dominion Ballroom was incredibly spacious and featured elegant architecture, luxurious lighting and eye-catching decor!
Left: The reception tables were characterized by a refined spread of white tablecloths and candles with colorful floral centerpieces placed in alternating tall and short glass vases.
Right: Words can barely describe a cake so incredible! It was definitely a sight to be admired from closeup and far away. Cake Panache really outdid themselves with this five-tier masterpiece.
Mary is pleasantly surprised as she gets serenaded by Matt and the groomsmen!
