Rebecca and John got married on a beautiful autumn day at the United Stated Naval Academy, followed by an elegant reception at the Loews Hotel. Christina and Jason couldn’t get over their unique nature-inspired decor and enjoyed taking lots of detail photos throughout the day.
Surrounded by the warmth of her friends and family, Rebecca prepares for her big day. A string of pearls compliments her dress from David’s Bridal. Hair artist Hannah Yarbrough and make-up artist Aeriel Lewis complete her look.
We love Rebecca’s autumnal bouquet arrangement created by Cynthia at Flower Follies.
The ceremony was held at the USNA chapel.
Rebecca told us that she and John grew up together in school. They dated for awhile in high school but then spent ten years apart. Three years ago they reunited and knew it was meant to be.
One of the reasons they chose the Naval Academy was because of its architecture and its location on the Severn River.
Rebecca and John had a four-tier wedding cake by Fiona’s Cakes garnished with flowers and a charming vine inspired cake topper. The table centerpieces consisted of jewel draped branches and moss covered table numbers.
Guests signed their names on a matted custom created comic strip guestbook. How unique!
The lovely newlyweds dance to very appropriately titled “The Best is Yet to Come” by Frank Sinatra.
The Prime TIme Band for Washington Talent Agency provided the music that kept this party rocking all night!
Congratulations, Rebecca and John! Thank you for making us a part of your special day!
