Karen and Jake are one of those couples who just exude love. They first met 3 1/2 years ago via an online dating service. However they grew up in the same town and both went to area private schools, their paths just never crossed.
After dating for a while, Karen had a feeling Jake was going to propose while on a planned trip to Paris. But, Jake couldn’t wait and proposed 3 days before their trip. So the trip turned into a celebration of their engagement.
These two planned an amazing wedding day at The Westin Annapolis Hotel. “The venue was spacious and modern but intimate, even though we had 150 guests. Also, Jake and I wanted the reception to feel less formal and more of a “party” that’s why we chose a hors d’oeuvres-style reception, no formal sit-down dinner,” said Karen. They also gave an homage to their Paris trip by having a beautiful Parisian-themed dessert table, baked up by Sweet Hearts Patisserie. C’est manifique!
When we asked Jake and Karen what their favorite part of the day was, they said it was their First Look,”we were both nervous and we just wanted to see each other! And despite the cold, we loved every minute taking photos around downtown Annapolis and sharing that special time with just us.”
We loved sharing Karen and Jake’s special day, capturing their love in photos, for them to cherish forever.
