Emily and Matt’s love story all started with … brownies. Several weeks after being first introduced through mutual friends, they went on their first date. Emily told us that she made brownies to satisfy Matt’s sweet tooth and the rest is history; they’ve been inseparable ever since! Christina and Danny were thrilled to capture their special day!
Emily’s beautiful bridesmaids gather around to help tie up her beautiful vintage-inspired dress by Sottero and Midgley (as found at Mary’s Bridal Boutique in Annapolis).
These succulent springtime flower arrangements were provided by Connie Clark of Violets Florist.
Matt looked quite dapper in his Vera Wang assemble (as found at Men’s Warehouse).
While venue hunting during their wedding preparation, their first stop was the Governor Calvert House. It didn’t take much convincing; as soon as they walked out they instantly they knew this was the place! They fell in love with the building’s beauty and historic Annapolian charm.
Emily tells us that one of her and Matt’s favorite things to do while they were dating was to visit the Inner Harbor in Baltimore. To her surprise one day, Matt proposed at the Seven Knolls lighthouse during a typical harbor visit. This photo just about sums up Emily’s reaction!

We loved the reception table arrangements, especially the rustic lantern centerpieces.
Here’s a great DIY favor idea as made by the bride herself! Homemade jam.
This delectable four-tier cake was crafted over at Cakes and Confections Gourmet Bakery in Severna Park.
Congratulations again Emily and Matt! Thank you for making us a part of your special day!
